The common representation of the Mediterranean Euroregion Alps, is in the heart of the European district of Brussels, and it was inaugurated on January 31, 2008. This is a joint headquarters offices together the Piedmont Region, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Rhône-Alpes and soon, the Aosta Valley. It also features a spacious conference and exhibition providing all the Euroregion partners.
This common representation increases the visibility of the Euroregion with European institutions and promotes joint work teams of Brussels. The role of the common representation of the Euroregion Alpes Mediterranean in Brussels is to:
- allow different offices of exchange and share information through constant monitoring of EU policies and programs;
- to be a driving force to boost joint European projects through active lobbying, including the six thematic work of the Euroregion;
- to work in conjunction with members of the Euroregion Steering Committee present in the five regions;
- to encourage the promotion of the 5 regions and projects, including the organization of joint events.
